Dhaka, Bangladesh

I am an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University, where I also completed my BSc in Computer Science and Engineering with a CGPA of 3.99/4.00.

My research interests include language-model unlearning, knowledge editing, mechanistic interpretability, and representation learning. For my undergraduate thesis, I investigated entity-level knowledge erasure in large language models through activation signatures. I have also worked remotely as a Research Assistant with a research associate based in Germany, exploring associative-memory approaches to knowledge editing.

Outside research and teaching, I enjoy staying active. I used to be an athlete while studying at a military boarding school for girls in Feni, Bangladesh. Over time, however, continuing some of those hobbies has become increasingly difficult as a middle-class woman living in Dhaka’s conservative, concrete-dense urban environment. I still miss being able to run, play, and spend hours outdoors.
